How we verify

What we show, and what we will not.

Public records. Distilleries and labels come from public TTB producer lists and COLA label approvals. A listing is not proof a house is open, and the public list may not be complete.

First-party facts. Producer names, sites, and announcements only when they come from the producer or a public record. We do not invent location, price, or release.

Source + Checked. Every fact row has a real Source link and the date we checked it.

Label approval is not a release. A Label approved date means the label cleared TTB. It does not mean the bottle shipped or was offered for sale.

Unrated until we rate. Ratings read Unrated until VintAtlas rates them. We do not scrape critic scores.

% optimal. % optimal is distance-to-ideal from our window, not a critic score.
